Hey everyone, Im chris, Im here to drop my 2 cents and leave...
Well first off, I started a band afew months back called Beauty of the Era, (props to whoever followed us), starting the happy hardcore style band was something I always wanted, but by the time the bandwas fully working all my ideas had been taken by other bands...and I finally realized that hardcore wasnt for me....
Im sick of all these local bands doing there chuggs every song, wheres the variety, everyone wants to play chugs, why cuz there easy to play, theres no challenge.
and so far I hanvt heard one screamer in any local band, that is worth listening to...
Now for me, i chose music as my way of life, im planning on getting signed, and i thank all the shitty metal bands here in KC cuz u guys make it easier for my band to get signed. my band isnt even drop tuning and we are heavier that all of you guys in metal bands....
what im trying to get to, it, stop playing wanna be horrible breakdowns that have been played 30 thousand times by bands that are already signed, and try something fresh. It takes my band about 3 weeks to write a decent song, and the idea changes alot by the finish product, you can't rush music, or else its gunna be shit...
I swear on my life there isnt one band here that can show me there songs, and I can say ive never heard that before. What my band plays is totally new, hanvt heard anything like it...and I want everyone here tobe the same way....
